About Swap Requests and the Job Board

Momentum provides a simple means for staff members to swap assignments with specific colleagues, using the “Staff Request Wizard” to set up the swap and notify the people involved.

In addition to swapping specific assignments with someone else, staff members have the options to:

• to give an assignment to a specific colleague without taking one in return, and
• to take an assignment from a colleague without giving up another.

All of these changes require the approval of the person to whom the request is directed, as well as the approval of the schedule administrator.

Finally, Momentum provides a “Job Board” allowing staff members or the schedule administrator to post a shift as available for any other qualified candidate to bid on. Bids must be accepted by the schedule administrator, which triggers notifications to all involved (originator, successful bidder, unsuccessful bidder(s)).
